Caen, France

First things first...where the heck am I? There has been an understandable amount of confusion because of the similar pronunciation to the more known city of Cannes, however, I am in Caen, France. It is in the Normandy region of France and is part of the North Eastern culture of France. I've posted a map where Caen is marked in the red section.


I didn't know much about the town before I arrived, but I am in love. It is obviously much smaller than Paris, but still big enough to have a beautiful and lively downtown where one can enjoy all the things the French culture has to offer. I can't wait to show it off to my parents when they visit in April!  More to come on life in Caen soon!
